Job summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Level 1 CNC Machinist for a reputable Blue Water Area manufacturing partner. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with a full-time, contract-to-hire path. This role requires basic CNC setup knowledge, blueprint reading, and strong mechanical aptitude to support precision machining operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of CNC experience, a solid work history, and a readiness to learn and grow within a long-term career.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CNC machining experience
• Basic CNC setup and fixturing experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience using micrometers and calipers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform basic CNC machine setups and adjustments.
• Position, secure, and align parts using fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Troubleshoot basic machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
