Qualified Staffing is seeking a dependable Level 1 CNC Machinist for a reputable Blue Water Area manufacturer in Michigan. The role involves basic CNC setups, part fixturing, blueprint reading, and precision measurement with micrometers and calipers.

This full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity offers a competitive pay range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience, plus a 4-day workweek and opportunities for skill growth in a stable environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience.
• Basic CNC setup and fixturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using micrometers and calipers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and a solid work history.
• Willingness to learn, grow and develop machining skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic CNC machine setups and adjustments.
• Position, secure, and align parts using fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Troubleshoot basic machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
