Job summary

Express Employment International (US) in North Baltimore, Ohio, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM). The role centers on setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes, with a pay rate of $21.75 per hour.

This position offers a four-day work week and the opportunity to work with a variety of machines. Responsibilities include fixture selection, tooling changes, quality checks, and collaboration with machinists, supervisors and planning staff to

Qualifications

Experience reading blueprints, specifications, and measuring instruments.
Proficient in CNC setup and operation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate a wide variety of CNC machinery, including Mills and Lathes.
Determine and install appropriate fixtures, attachments, and tooling according to job specifications.
Review project requirements and collaborate with machinists, supervisors, and planners to ensure production consistency and quality.
Adjust machine speeds, tooling, and cutting techniques to achieve precise dimensions and superior finished products.
Monitor machining operations and perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
