Job summary

EMT International in Hobart, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced CNC Machinist for 2nd shift (Tue–Thu) with a 12-hour schedule. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes in a high-mix, low-volume shop, reading blueprints and GD&T, and inspecting parts to tight tolerances.

You’ll work a 36-hour week but be paid for 40 hours, plus a $3.00/hour shift premium. Overtime applies beyond the 36-hour period. Join a clean, well-organized shop and take ownership of your work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Strong CNC mill and/or lathe setup experience.
• Ability to set up and run jobs independently.
• Experience making program edits at the machine.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills.
• Experience using inspection tools to verify your work.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Selecting tooling and setting offsets.
• Proving out programs and making edits at the machine.
• Reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Inspecting your own parts and holding tight tolerances.
• Troubleshooting machining and tooling issues.
• Making adjustments to improve quality and cycle times.
• Working independently and taking ownership of your jobs.
