Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a CNC Machinist - 3 axis to support production on the first shift, preparing tooling, coordinating CNC setups, and manufacturing high-precision components. The role partners with programmers and management to optimize workflow and maintain quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has strong blueprint interpretation skills, experience with Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Fidia controls, and a detail-oriented mindset to ensure adherence to customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Adequate CNC equipment operation experience as determined by Karman.
• Detail oriented and organized with effective communication across management levels.
• Experience with Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Fidia controls.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates potential impacts of product failures on customer requirements.
• Maintains AS9100 procedures and supports continuous improvement.
• Operates CNC machines to manufacture components.
• Collaborates with programmers to minimize setup and manufacturing time.
