Job summary

Jabil is hiring a Machinist for our Grand Junction, CO facility. You will set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills or lathes with live tooling and without, reading blueprints and setup instructions to produce precision components.

The role requires strength to lift 50–75 lbs, familiarity with GD&T, and experience with Mazak/Mate multi-axis machines is a plus. On-site with day/evening shifts listed, and strong 6S discipline across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school or GED or higher preferred.
• 2+ years machinist experience; CNC, lathe, and manual machines a plus.
• Mazak Mill or Integrex multi-axis experience preferred.
• ITAR compliance: U.S. export regulations apply.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform all tasks.
• Read blueprints and setup instructions to fabricate machined components.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, bore gauges and height gauges.
• Operate CNC Mills or Lathes and other hand/power machines.
• Assemble cutting tools.
• Maintain 6S in the work area.
