Horton, Inc. in Britton, SD is seeking a CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30 PM–1:00 AM) with overtime as needed. You will set up and operate machine tools, load materials, and inspect parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances.

Ideal candidates have Mills/Lathe experience or a 2-year technical degree, blueprint reading skills, basic math and good teamwork. Horton offers a competitive benefits package and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or CNC Machinist experience.
• Blueprints literacy and dimensional inspection required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Changes settings or tooling to meet part dimensions.
• Assist less experienced machinists with setups.
• Operate one or more machine tools to produce high quality parts.
• Perform daily and weekly machine maintenance.
• Move between machines as directed by area manager.
• Setup and operate machine tools within the work cell.
• Support the team to ensure overall company success.
