Job summary

Allegheny Bradford Corporation in Bradford, PA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate multi-axis CNC centers, producing high-purity stainless steel components for pharma and biotech industries. You will read blueprints, adjust feeds and speeds, perform in-process inspection, and collaborate with engineers to maintain tight tolerances.

Training on first shift with second shift schedule, competitive benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years CNC machining experience or an Associate Degree in machining or trade training.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with stainless steel or exotic metals is preferred.
Ability to stand and lift in a manufacturing environment.
Mazak 5-axis experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Setup and operate multi-axis CNC machining centers for milling, drilling, boring, tapping and facing operations.
Quality control: inspect parts during and after machining with precision tools to ensure standards.
Programming support: interpret CNC programs and assist with minor edits.
Preventative maintenance: routine oiling, cleaning, and machine upkeep.
Team collaboration: work with engineers, supervisors and machinists to coordinate workflow.
Safety and cleanliness: follow safety protocols and keep a clean workspace.
