Job summary

JC Ford is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines and produce precision components per specs. You will read blueprints, load G-code, select tooling, and perform quality checks using precision instruments.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced shop floor environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining operations.
• Load programs into machines using G-code or conversational programming software, and make necessary adjustments for accuracy and efficiency.
• Select, install, and align tooling and workholding devices to ensure proper machining.
• Monitor machine operation during production runs to detect and resolve malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work area clean and organized.
• Accurately complete production and inspection documentation as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with company quality standards and procedures.
