Job summary

Industrious Group Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes or mills, producing precision parts and instruments. You will read blueprints, select tools, and determine machine speeds and feeds to meet tolerances.

The role requires five years of CNC experience and the ability to work 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday. Candidates should be able to handle tooling and operate cranes and forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Blueprint reading a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other written instructions.
• Set-up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Machine parts to prints per specified tolerances.
• Writes instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide set-up and operation of machine.
• Writes program of machine instructions to regulate movement of machine along cutting path.
