Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology seeks manual/CNC machinists in Houston for 2nd shift. Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, read blueprints, and maintain quality and safety standards. You will document processes and collaborate with a team under a Shop Supervisor.

Minimum 5+ years of manual machining experience; experience with stainless steel preferred. A strong focus on accuracy, record-keeping, and teamwork is essential, with a $2.50 shift differential and quarterly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of manual CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Experience with stainless steel or duplex stainless steel preferred.
• CNC horizontal mill experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3- or 4-axis CNC machines.
• Read orders to select proper work center and tooling.
• Listen for tool wear and compensate as needed.
• Install proper tooling and cutting tools.
• Inspect pieces with gauges and micrometers and adjust programs.
• Maintain tooling and report tool/material issues.
• Train others on machine tools and operations.
• Document actions and communicate next steps.
