Brennan in Ohio is seeking a CNC machine operator to set up and run production CNC equipment to manufacture parts per customer orders. The role offers a competitive shift differential for applicable schedules and overtime opportunities based on business needs.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of CNC operator experience, basic math, blueprint reading, and familiarity with G and M codes. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with strong attention to detail and good communication

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment to meet customer orders.
• Plan machining from work orders, blueprints, specs; interpret dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Job Duties

• Maintain production equipment to meet customer orders.
• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, material specifications, drawings, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufactures instructions; troubleshooting malfunction.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Skills and Knowledge
