Summary

CNC Machinists are highly skilled professionals who work with precision and concentration. They are responsible, adhere to safety guidelines, and possess a keen eye for detail and mechanical aptitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Handle tools or controls manually.
  2. Perform repetitive movements.
  3. Maintain vision (with or without assistance) to see small objects at close range.
  4. Stand or sit for prolonged periods.
  5. Lift up to 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC programs.
  • Set up machines and produce parts.
  • Install equipment or attachments on machinery.
  • Read and interpret job instructions, technical drawings, and set-up diagrams.
  • Measure and record products or materials for quality control.
  • Monitor machinery to detect issues.
  • Use hand tools and adjust machine setups.
  • Load and unload materials.
  • Clean equipment and machinery.
  • Follow procedures and work instructions.
Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to follow instructions and directions.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Knowledge of measurement systems and G/M codes.
  • Accurate counting and quality checking.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with results-driven attitude.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Positive attitude, team player, manufacturing/CNC experience, cleanroom experience preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED, or 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • This position is subject to ITAR regulations, requiring U.S. person status.
Physical Demands

Must regularly stand, handle, reach, talk, walk, climb, and occasionally stoop or lift up to 50 lbs. Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, vibration, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions. Noise levels vary from quiet to moderate.
