Our organization is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Consulting CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team for the 2nd shift. This role is pivotal in our manufacturing process, requiring an individual who possesses a deep understanding of CNC machinery, G code, and 3 and 4 axis operations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading company in the manufacturing industry, providing valuable input and expertise to ensure the efficient running of our production line.

Responsibilities

As a Consulting CNC Lathe Machinist, your main responsibilities will include

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathe machines.
• Interpreting and working from engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models.
• Developing and optimizing machining processes by adjusting speeds, feeds, and other settings.
• Using G code and other CNC machine language to program the machine.
• Performing routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning and lubricating.
• Ensuring that all parts produced meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machines and production processes.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to develop new and improved machining processes.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures in the workplace.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the Consulting CNC Lathe Machinist role, you must possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC lathe machines.
• In-depth knowledge of G code and other CNC machine language.
• Experience working with 3 and 4 axis machines.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures in the workplace.
