Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Utah to set up and operate CNC mills and turn-mill equipment, producing precision metal parts to tight specs. You will read drawings, select tooling, and optimize speeds and feeds.

You’ll measure parts with micrometers and adjust processes to ensure quality and efficiency. The role emphasizes collaborating with engineering and manufacturing, supporting CNC programming, and performing minor preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years CNC machining experience in metal manufacturing.
  • Hands on CNC milling and/or turn mill experience.
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment.
  • Ability to produce precision parts to tight specifications.
  • Experience using micrometers and precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing instructions.
  • Ability to complete first shift training before transitioning permanently to second shift.
