Position Details

This position is 2nd Shift, scheduled Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:00 am.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Turning Machinist responsible for manufacturing products to print using manual and CNC machine tools.

Primary Objectives

• Ensure quality of parts manufactured in a timely manner.
• Maintain adherence to the quality management system during daily manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture parts according to specifications.
• Inspect parts for quality.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Complete correct documentation (timekeeping, BOMs, prints, etc.).
• Perform additional duties such as maintenance and housekeeping as assigned.

Qualifications

• Machining experience in a related industry preferred.
• Machine tool technology degree (2-year) preferred.
• Ability to set up and operate various machine programs.
• Effective multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Proficiency with computer software.
• Ability to read and use measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Alignment with GWC (Gets the role, Wants to do it, Capacity to do it).
