Join to apply for the CNC Machinist - 2nd shift role at High Steel Structures LLC

High Steel Structures is a leading steel fabricator for North America's transportation infrastructure projects, known for innovation and industry leadership. We are hiring experienced 2nd-Shift CNC Machine Operators in Lancaster, PA.

Responsibilities include:

1. Setting up and operating various machines, including Mazak & Fryer machining centers, MG oxy & MG Titan burning machines, CNC punch, Rojar milling machine, Brake press, and Gemini burning/drilling machining center.
2. Supporting fabrication processes and occasionally assisting with fabrication tasks.

Work Schedule: M-F, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM with a 25% shift differential.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating lathes, mills, or CNC machining centers.
• Ability to set offsets and tooling for first piece inspection.
• Familiarity with XYZ axes on machining centers.
• Experience with compound tapers and end mills preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Accurate layout and measuring skills preferred.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading machines with first piece checks and documentation.
• Performing burning, punching, drilling, grinding, and assisting with other operations.
• Using portable grinders for finishing steel parts.
• Handling materials with cranes or hoists.
