Job summary

Pentair is seeking a CNC Machinist for 2nd shift in Ashland, OH. You will perform setup and teardown and operate a range of machines, receive on-the-job training, and make tool adjustments to produce parts to spec.

Quality checks, including first piece inspection, are required, with productive output at standard rates. Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of CNC experience, can read blueprints and GD&T, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and wear steel-toed footwear.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years CNC machining experience.
• Able to read Blueprints and GD&T.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach and twist.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; steel-toed footwear required.

Responsibilities

• Set up/teardown and operate CNC machines.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Make tool adjustments and replacements as needed.
• Produce quality parts to specification, including deburring/cleaning.
• Perform quality checks, including first piece inspection.
• Work productively according to established standard rates.

CNC Machinist, 2nd Shift – Ashland, OH

We have an opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join our Ashland, OH, team. You will perform a range of duties at the manufacturing facility. Training will be done for multiple production areas, and you could see yourself learning a range of manufacturing support skills.

You will:

• Perform setup/teardowns and operations on a range of machines: CINCINNATI MILACRON/CINTURNS, CNC 4-Axis
• Receive on the job training and mentoring on Pentair’s proven best practices.
• Make tool adjustments and replacements as necessary.
• Produce quality parts to specification which may include deburring and cleaning parts.
• Perform quality checks as required, including first piece inspection.
• Perform work productively according to established standard rates.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience doing the tasks listed above.
• Must be able to read Blueprints and GD&T
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Compensation:

• The hourly pay for this role is $28.54/hour.

Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday – Friday
• Overtime required as needed.
