Job summary

Natoma Manufacturing, LLC. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC Mills, including 5-Axis Mills. You will read blueprints, perform setups, and verify parts with precision.

The position offers a night shift (4:00pm – 2:30am, Mon–Thu) with a $2/hour shift differential. Starting pay is $15.00/hour, with overtime potential and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Some post-secondary education in the trade or 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read operator/process documents and perform setups and operations as described.
• Read blueprints and part sheets to determine approach for creating precision parts.
• Machine complex components to tight tolerances in various materials.
• Use inspection/measurement tools to validate work.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Maintain equipment and a clean, organized workspace.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects for the department and company.

Requirements

What to Expect:

As a CNC Machinist you are responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mills, 5-Axis Mills or other various CNC machinery as well as partial inspection and verification of component parts. We need quality craftsmen who can be creative and provide solutions to complex problems on a daily basis.

• Setup and operate CNC Mills, 5-Axis Mills or other various CNC machinery.
• Read operator/process documents and perform setups and operations as described
• Read blueprints and part sheet to determine proper approach to creating precision parts.
• Machine complex components to tight tolerances in various materials with tight deadlines
• Use various inspection and measurement tools to validate your work
• Work as a team by openly collaborating fellow team members
• Proactively communicate with management other team members through verbal and written communications
• Maintain shop equipment as required
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Participate in continuous improvement projects for the department and company

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of blueprint reading preferred, but not required
• Basic knowledge in the use of measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, bore gauges, optical comparator, etc.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required

Shifts Available:

Night Shift is 4:00pm – 2:30am Monday to Thursday

3-day weekends and opportunity for overtime available!

Competitive Wages:

Starting wage for this position is $15.00/hour. Pay is negotiable and based on applicant’s education and/or work experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Natoma Manufacturing.
