Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Santa Ana is seeking a Machinist to operate 2-5 axis CNC cells and standalone machines. You will perform setup, load fixtures and tools, and run CNC programs with offsets, reading prints and using inspection tools. Expect 2–5 years of experience and a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Capable of loading and securing fixtures with minimal assistance.
• Knowledge of G and M codes used to set and adjust CNC programs.
• Proficient in shop math including geometry and tool geometry.
• Ability to read basic English prints and apply dimensional specs to inspections.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment (lathe or mill).
• Perform basic setup: fixtures, tools, CNC programs.
• Produce parts per production rates and quality standards.
• Monitor CNC offsets to maintain product quality and adjust as needed.
• Perform intermediate inspections using drawings and inspection tools.
• Identify machine malfunctions from tool wear or damage.
• Replace and adjust cutting tools as needed.
• Meet production demands.
• Operate multiple machines concurrently.
