Precision Castparts is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate 3-5 axis CNC machine cells and standalone equipment. The role requires basic setup, fixture and tool preparation, and loading CNC programs and offsets. Candidates will use inspection tools to verify dimensions and read prints to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to load and secure fixtures with minimal assistance.
• Knowledge of G and M codes used to set and adjust offsets and interact with CNC programs.
• Working knowledge of shop math including geometry and sign conventions.
• Ability to read basic prints and apply dimensional specifications to inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3-5 axis CNC machine cells and standalone machines.
• Perform basic machine setup, fixture and cutting tool preparation, load programs and offsets.
• Use height gauges, air gauges, and bench inspection for quality checks.
• Read prints and apply dimensional specifications to ensure part conformity.
