Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for the Mishawaka, IN shop on 1st shift. The role focuses on programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling and turning centers while ensuring high-quality production and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC experience, strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills, and the ability to modify programs using Mastercam in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.
• Ability to modify CNC programs and select tooling.
• Experience with Mastercam preferred.
• Proficient in precision measurement with micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling and turning centers.
• Read blueprints and GD&T data to determine tooling and sequences.
• Write or adjust CNC programs using Mastercam.
• Perform dimensional inspections with precision gauges.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety standards.
