Job summary

Valcor Engineering Corporation is seeking a CNC Machinist for the 1st shift in Springfield, NJ. This full-time union position requires setting up and performing a wide range of machining, fitting and assembly tasks from blueprints or verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Apprenticeship or 4–5 years machinist experience required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining center.
• Use machinist hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Determine operations sequences and tooling.
• Move parts and maintain shop housekeeping.
• Assist in assigning work to junior machinists.
