Job summary

Harvey Performance Company is hiring CNC Machinists for the Gorham, ME facility. You will set up and operate CNC grinders (Walters and Rollomatic), ensure part quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume shop.

We seek associates with an tool-technology background, the ability to read drawings and SOPs, and a willingness to cross-train across departments. Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology or relevant industry experience.
• Ability to follow engineering documents such as: Product drawing, Process sheets, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and work with all departments.

Responsibilities

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our CNC Machinists are responsible for the setup and operation of our state-of-the-art CNC machinery, as well as the quality of the industry leading tools we produce. We are currently hiring for our first and second shifts. Our newly built facility is in Gorham ME, less than a twenty-minute drive to Portland ME. The Gorham area offers easy access to great outdoor activities, safe communities, and quality schooling both K through 12 and Colleges

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Create, setup, and maintain operation of a variety of CNC tool and cutter grinders in a high-volume production environment, while working with our state-of-the-art Walters and Rollomatic machines.
• Assist manufacturing engineering in continuous improvement practices.

The expected pay range for this position is $23.00 to $30.00 per hour. This range reflects what the company reasonably expects to pay for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, and performance.
