Job summary

KEB America, Inc. is seeking a mid-level CNC Machinist in Shakopee, MN. The role involves producing parts to specifications using CNC machines, hand tools, and inspection equipment. Mon-Thu, 5:00am-3:30pm, with overtime as needed.

Starting pay ranges from $25 to $40 per hour depending on experience, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid across six months to one year. Benefits and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills (standard and metric).

• Proficiency reading blueprints and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machines.
• Change tools.
• Set up CNC machines (Haas, Mazak, Doosan).
• Perform offsets and edit G and M codes.
• Perform secondary duties (broach, buffer, deburr, grind).
• Inspect parts and ensure quality.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines.

• Mid-level Candidates: $25-$29/hour
• Experienced Candidates: $30-$40/hour

For Machinists $3,000 sign-on bonus: Upon hire, you will receive $1,500 in six months and another $1,500 in one year. The days and times for 1st shift are Monday through Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm. Overtime occurs as necessary. Check out our YouTube video for machining.Starting pay range:

Requirements

The CNC Machinist: is responsible for producing parts to specifications using machine tools, hand tools, and inspection equipment. The machinist will:

• Load and unload machines
• Change tools
• Set up CNC machines (Haas, Mazak, Doosan)
• Perform offsets
• Edit G and M codes
• Perform secondary duties (broach, buffer, deburr, grind, etc.)
• Inspect parts
• Perform general maintenance on machines
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)

• Basic understanding of inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

• Ability to read and understand a blueprint, tolerances, and drafting symbols related to machining
• Experience with Haas, Mazak and Doosan equipment is a plus
• Ability to do machining problem solving
• Ability to solve tooling issues
