Job summary

Austin Tri-hawk Automotive Inc. seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and maintain CNC machinery, reading blueprints and GD&T to produce precision tooling parts. You will collaborate with tooling engineers and manufacturing staff to meet project specs, while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include analyzing tooling designs, performing routine machine maintenance, and adhering to ISO-9001 and CSR policies, in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school or apprenticeship in Tool & Die preferred.
• 1–3 years CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or tooling environment.

Responsibilities

ResponsibilityThe CNC Machinist responsibilities include operating and maintaining CNC machinery while producing precision parts. You should be able to collaborate with Tooling engineer and manufacturing staff. Should demonstrate superb attention to detail and be able to manage your time efficiently. CNC Machinist should be deadline-driven, meticulous, and consistently produce high-quality work.Using CAD to analyze existing tooling designs and improve on them.Read and understand blueprints for new tooling design as per project specifications.Reading and understanding tolerances including GD&T is a must.Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Identify and resolve issues related to machine operation, programming, or tooling to ensure efficient production processes.Support (ATA) efforts to promote Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR) and ensure activities are carried out in cooperation with G-TEKT CSR, and Corporate Governance initiatives and activities to ensure compliance in functional areas of responsibility.
