Staffmark is seeking a CNC Machinist for a direct hire position in the United States. The role requires setup and operation of CNC and manual machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring dimensional accuracy with precision tools.

Train on 1st shift, then move to 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 11:55 PM) with a $2.00 shift differential. Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of CNC experience, GD&T knowledge, and strong math and problem-solving abilities.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, blueprint reading, and GD&T.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining, machine setup, and operation experience.
• Experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment according to work instructions and production requirements.
• Load and unload raw materials, tooling, and finished components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to produce quality parts.
• Verify dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Perform tool changes, machine adjustments, and basic preventative maintenance.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality to ensure specifications are met.
• Identify and report equipment, quality, tooling, and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

CNC Machinist – (Direct Hire)

Pay: $32.87/hr + $2.00 Shift Differential ($34.87/hr Total)
Schedule: Train on 1st Shift, then move to 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:55 PM
Overtime: Frequently Available (Not Mandatory)

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, blueprint reading, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining, machine setup, and operation experience required.
• Experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Working knowledge of GD&T required.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8+ hour shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and handling of materials, tooling, and production components.
• Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment while wearing required PPE, including steel-toe footwear.
