Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Winsted is seeking an experienced Aerospace CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC grinding and milling equipment, producing high-precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.

You will read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and adjust tooling and offsets while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Tool Room teams to continuously improve processes. A strong mechanical mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Experience with CNC machining, grinding, milling, or multi-axis equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills.
• A positive attitude, dependable attendance, and desire to learn.
• Aerospace experience preferred but not required for strong machinists.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
