# AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING JOBS, WICHITA, KSCNC Machinist**Location:** Wichita, KS**Type:** 1st Shift, 2nd Shift and Weekend Shift AvailableMAX Aerostructures supplies the aircraft industry with parts from small to large, partnering from the beginning to manage the supply base and take care of each customer every step of the way. We are currently hiring a CNC Machinist for our first shift. MAX Aerostructures is the high-performance aerospace supplier that will take you Beyond the Horizon!- ### Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: * High school diploma or GED * Knowledge of blueprints and CNC machines * Experience working with Mazak machines * Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area- ### Duties/Responsibilities * Studies blueprints, sketches, sequence of operations and set-up requirements * Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required * Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines and procedures * Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required * Verified conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary * Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data * Confers with production personnel, programmers or others to resolve machining or assembly problems- ### Physical Requirements * Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat and walk on a regular basis * Must have excellent hand-eye coordination * Must adhere to safety procedures at all times## Pay and Benefits* Competitive wages* Health, Dental and Vision Insurance with generous employer premium contributions* 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match* Paid time off and paid holidays* Short-term Disability and Long-term Disability* Life insurance* Gym membership discount* Employee assistance program* Christmas club savings account* Referral bonuses
