Job summary

A manufacturing staffing agency is seeking a CNC Operator to independently set up and operate CNC machines while adhering to blueprint specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and have at least 2 years of experience in CNC setup and operation. Key responsibilities include performing stability studies, initial inspections, and maintaining a clean work environment. Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to read blueprints is critical for success in this role.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities

• Independently setup at least one type of CNC machnine
• Operate machine/s while maintaining blueprint specifications
• Perform stability study of gauges used
• Load and edit programs as needed
• Perform initial inspection when needed
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
• Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 2+ years experience setting up and operating CNC equipment
• Demonstrated ability to setup some of the CNC machines
• Ability to use all relevant measurement equipment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English
• Ability to meet quality and productivity standards
• Ability to read blueprints
