Job description

Do you have technical knowledge or experience with setting, programming and operating CNC machines? If you answered yes, then we invite you to apply now and become a part of a team that prioritises its people and community.

Working from our Virginia facility, you will be responsible for setting up and operating hand tools, machines or equipment to cut, shape and form metal stock and casting to exact sizes in accordance with drawings, CAD systems and specifications in order to ensure the accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies.

This includes machining metal components from single to complex form and studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.

We’re one of the few manufacturers in Australia certified to both ISO 9001 and API Spec Q1, so your role will ensure compliance of our products and processes according to our strict quality control measures.

What we’ll be looking for in you:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
• Technical knowledge or experience with setting, programming and operating CNC machines, ensuring production efficiency.
• Attention to detail & ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings & follow work instructions.
• Computer literacy & exposure to quality systems.
• Ability to work toward goals & targets with low supervision.
