Job summary

HTI Human Technologies, Inc. is seeking skilled CNC Machinists in Summerville, SC to setup, operate, and machine precision components across VTLs, HBMs, and mills. You will read blueprints and GD&T, select tooling, and perform quality inspections to ensure tight tolerances on complex parts.

The role offers 1st-3rd shifts, overtime, and relocation assistance. A minimum of 5 years CNC experience and U.S. citizenship are required due to defense-related programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years CNC machining in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC tools independently.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC tools including VTLs, HBMs, turning centers and mills.
• Machine large, complex components to engineering specifications and tolerances.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; select tooling and fixtures; set machine offsets.
• Perform turning, boring, facing, grooving, threading, drilling, tapping, milling, profiling.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections with precision instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues; monitor performance for quality and productivity.
• Operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment safely.
• Document production and quality data; support continuous improvement.

HTI is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for a leading manufacturer in Summerville, SC. These positions support critical defense, aerospace, naval, and industrial manufacturing programs and are focused on the setup, operation, and machining of precision components utilizing CNC equipment. While Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) experience is highly preferred, candidates with experience operating Horizontal Boring Mills (HBMs), Horizontal Turning Centers, CNC Mills, and other large machining equipment are encouraged to apply. These are Direct Hire opportunities available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
