Jobot is seeking a CNC Machinist for 3- and 5-axis aerospace production in Stockton, CA. You will set up and operate Fanuc and Siemens control machines to produce high‑precision metal, composite, and graphite parts in a low‑volume, high‑mix environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-quality metal, composite, and graphite parts for aerospace production.
• Set up and operate production CNC machine tools; select and mount appropriate tooling.
• Determine feeds and speeds, and perform cut-off, trimming, countersinking, and drilling operations.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, applying shop math for accurate machining.
• Transfer program files from computer to CNC controllers and monitor operations, adjusting as needed.
• Verify dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; inspect finished parts and maintain production and inspection logs.

Job Details:

Looking for:

• Willingness to comply with union rules and regulations
• Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:
  • Machining of composite and graphite parts
  • Aerospace or other tight‑tolerance production environments
  • GD&T and precision inspection
  • Routine machine maintenance and setup optimization
