Job summary

Jobot, a leading aerospace manufacturer in Southern California, is hiring for a CNC Lathe Machinist to join our production team. You will set up and operate CNC lathes, read blueprints, select tooling, and optimize speeds and feeds to maintain flow and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and running CNC lathes in manufacturing (aerospace preferred).
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling and tolerances.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspection measurements.
• Experience with multi-axis or live-tool lathes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full setup and operations of CNC lathe machines for production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T.
• Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining.
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues; support setup, first article inspections, and process improvements.
• Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams to maintain quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Full setup and operations of CNC lathe machines for production
