Job summary

Job description

We have a live opportunity for CNC Machinists to join a leading Aerospace manufacturing company based in South Windsor, CT. First and second shifts are available.

Due to growth, our client is actively seeking motivated and enthusiastic CNC Machinists with either CNC Milling or CNC Turning experience to join their industry-leading business.

The CNC Machinists will set and operate the company’s CNC machines and produce high-quality, flight-critical systems and structures.

Responsibilities for the CNC Machinists:

• Set up and operate company CNC milling or turning machinery.
• Work with vertical and horizontal milling machinery or CNC lathes.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints to produce complex components.
• Machine materials including aluminum, stainless steel, magnesium, titanium, and nickel.
• Inspect components to ensure they meet required quality and dimensional standards.
• Work to tight tolerances and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain work area and equipment where possible.
• Follow all company quality and safety procedures.

Experience for the CNC Machinists:

• Minimum of 5–7 years of CNC machining experience.
• Strong experience in either CNC Milling or CNC Turning.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Confident working to tight tolerances.
• Aerospace machining experience highly desirable.
• Strong ability in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.

Hours and pay rates for the CNC Machinists:

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Pay range: $26.97 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
