Job description

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, Days

Pay: Depending on experience, starting at $18+ an hour

The Journeyman Machinist will program, set-up, and operate CNC Machining equipment such as Lathes and Vertical and Horizontal Mills to produce parts to meet customer specifications.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain work orders with instructions and prepare workstation with the appropriate materials
• Load material into clamps, fixtures, or vices and run the machine
• Follow all applicable internal procedures and job router instructions
• Inspect product for quality and compliance with customer specifications using metrology equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workstation and department

Job Requirements:

• Experience with aerospace part setups
• 5 years of programming experience
• Experience with programming
• Experience with ERP Systems
• Experience with MasterCAM preferred, but any CAM based software experience can be substituted.
