Job description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and excellent organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:

CNC Machinist

Pay Rate:

$35/hr

What’s the Job?

1. Set up, operate, and manufacture components using CNC machinery.
2. Generate technical and summary reports, and interpret inspection reports.
3. Collaborate effectively with multiple departments and personality types.
4. Plan projects and deliver outcomes that meet tight deadlines and quality standards.
5. Utilize precision measuring tools and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

What’s Needed?

1. 3-5 years of experience with CNC machining centers, mills, or lathes.
2. Experience with Fanuc controllers and close tolerance machining.
3. Proficiency in MasterCam software and CNC codes.
4. Ability to read engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T.
5. Familiarity with Vericut and Mazatrol is a plus.
