Job summary

Sputtering Components Inc. in Owatonna, MN is seeking a CNC Machinist to take ownership of complex machining assignments and produce high-quality components.

You will work independently while meeting production goals and collaborating with engineers on production and R&D projects. You will translate blueprints to manufacture parts, follow work orders, maintain quality and safety standards, and continually improve processes.

Qualifications

• Must translate blueprints to manufacture parts.
• Ability to produce high-quality components efficiently.
• Follow all work orders and travelers provided by the company.

• Maintain a clean, organized, debris-free work area.
• Accurately perform CNC setups independently.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles throughout the shop.

• Remain proactive at all times.
• MasterCam knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Basic ability to read and program using G & M codes at the controller.
• Ability to make fixturing and vise jaws.

As a CNC Machinist, you'll take ownership of complex machining assignments, working independently to produce high-quality components while ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced engineers on both production and research & development projects, giving you exposure to a variety of challenging and rewarding work.
