Job summary

Advanced Blending Solutions LLC in Wallace, MI is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist to join our production team. This first-shift role offers weekends off and a starting wage of $24.25+ per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) match.

You will set up and operate CNC equipment, read drawings, select tooling, perform setup/teardown, and maintain quality. We value accuracy, efficiency, teamwork, and safety in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years CNC machining experience or an Associate's Degree in related field.
• Ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Experience with CNC machine setup and teardown.
• Detail oriented with strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to meet finish requirements.

Starting pay for this production position is $24.25+, depending on relevant experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CNC MACHINIST

As a CNC Machinist, you will work in a clean, comfortable environment as you set up and operate numerically controlled CNC machining equipment to perform operations that meet finish requirements. You will select tooling and set up vises and fixtures to run parts. We typically produce shorter runs, so set-up and tear-down is a key function of this position. You'll check stock to ensure sufficient inventory to complete the job. You will interpret engineering drawings to ensure all parts are present, interpret measurements, and verify specifications. As an operator, you may be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance on the machines, trouble-shoot malfunctions, and perform basic repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CNC MACHINIST

• Knowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
• Experience with CNC Machine set-up and tear down
• Organized, accurate, and detail oriented
• Efficient time management
• Effective verbal communication
• Complete training to become forklift certified within 30 days
• Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints
• High school diploma or equivalent PLUS 2 years CNC machining experience and/or Associate's Degree in related field

WORK SCHEDULE AS A CNC MACHINIST

The typical schedule for this full-time position is Monday - Thursday from 5 AM to 2:30 PM and Friday from 5 AM - 9 AM with free weekends!
