Jobot in Minnesota is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a busy manufacturing team. The role sets up and runs CNC mills and lathes, reads blueprints, maintains tolerances, and troubleshoots on the floor. This is a fast-paced position with growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of CNC experience, strong precision measurement skills, and familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak). Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Hands-on experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak or similar).
• Technical training or certification in machining or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes or machining centers to produce parts to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and work orders to plan machining sequence and tooling.
• Select, install and adjust tooling and fixtures for each job.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments to confirm tolerance.
• Edit or adjust programs at the machine to correct issues and improve cycle time.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Document production and quality data accurately for each job run.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, and follow all safety protocols.
