Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Operator for a second shift in California at an established precision manufacturing company serving highly regulated industries. This on‑site role offers long‑term stability and the opportunity to support a growing production environment.

Responsibilities include milling across 3/4/5 axis, assisting with setup, programming, and improvements to tooling and processes, and collaboration with shop personnel to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• General understanding of manufacturing operations and machining concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with supporting production environments and working collaboratively with operations teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and documentation discipline.

• Assist with equipment setup, initial part verification, and optimization of CNC machining processes across multi‑axis milling operations.
• Assist with equipment setup and initial production activities, including troubleshooting and making program adjustments to support stable operations.
• Develop and modify programs to support a variety of manufacturing processes and equipment types.
• Collaborate with shop personnel to improve and standardize processes, tooling, and work methods.
• Maintain organized control of program files, digital models, documentation, and related records in accordance with internal procedures.

Schedule

Hours: 2nd shift
Days: Monday-Friday 2pm-1030pm

Job Requirements

• Experience with mill
• 3 axis, 4 axis, 5 axis
• Assist with equipment setup, initial part verification, and optimization of CNC machining processes across multi‑axis milling operations.
• Assist with equipment setup and initial production activities, including troubleshooting and making program -adjustments to support stable operations.
• Develop and modify programs to support a variety of manufacturing processes and equipment types.
• Collaborate with shop personnel to improve and standardize processes, tooling, and work methods.
• Maintain organized control of program files, digital models, documentation, and related records in accordance with internal procedures.
• Support advanced machining activities as required in a modern manufacturing environment.
• Mori Seiki, Mazak Fanuc or Siemens controls experience is desired
