Job summary

Jobot in Connecticut is seeking a skilled CNC Turning Machinist to join a high-precision manufacturing team. This role sets up, programs (optional), and operates CNC lathes to produce tight-tolerance components for diverse industries.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of CNC machining experience, focus on CNC turning/lathe work, high-precision or tight-tolerance manufacturing
• Experience in metal stamping, automotive, aerospace, or medical industries preferred
• Experience with CNC lathes/turning centers (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, etc.)
• Working knowledge of G-code programming and edits (preferred)
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, tooling and cutting parameters
• Ability to use precision inspection tools

Responsibilities

• Set up, program (optional depending on level), and operate CNC lathes/turning centers to produce tight-tolerance components
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet specifications
• Inspect finished parts for conformance using precision measurement tools

Job Details

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3–7+ years of CNC machining experience, with a focus on: CNC turning / lathe work, High-precision or tight-tolerance manufacturing
