Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate manual and CNC milling machines and lathes to produce precision parts in Lebanon, PA. The role follows blueprints, specifications, and written/verbal instructions to ensure quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, editing CNC programs (G & M codes), holding tight tolerances, selecting tooling, interpreting drawings, and maintaining records. Safety and independence in a structured shop are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior machining experience (manual and/or CNC).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of shop math, trigonometry, and GD&T.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Perform minor CNC program edits using G & M codes.
• Machine parts to tolerances as close as .0002”.
• Select correct speeds, feeds, tooling, and work-holding methods.
• Assist in the design and use of jigs and fixtures.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring and inspection tools.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material-handling equipment as needed.
• Verify job documentation and maintain accurate production records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Participate in required safety training and comply with all safety procedures.
