Job summary

Rita Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Lakeland, FL to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes according to blueprints and specs.

You will use CAM software, select proper tooling, inspect parts with metrology tools, and ensure equipment maintenance. A high school diploma and 2 years production experience are required, with overtime and evening hours likely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of production experience.
• Programming via CAM software or panel programming experience.
• Proficient with standard metrology equipment for inspection.
• Proficient with CNC mill and lathe equipment, settings and maintenance.
• Ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAM software for part programming and setup.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes.
• Machine parts according to specifications and blueprints.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper tooling selection.
• Pre-inspect parts and ensure conformance to standards.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00/hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 4pm-2:30am, with overtime as needed

Duration: Temporary to Possible Hire

Job Description

• CAM software utilization
• CNC Lathe set-up and operation
• Machine parts according to specifications and blueprints
• Maintain equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards

Job Requirements
