Job summary

Accelera in Youngsville, near Lafayette, is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join a busy manufacturing facility. You will manage the full machining lifecycle, from initial setup to delivering finished components.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of CNC experience, strong GD&T skills, and a proven track record in writing/editing G-Code across multiple machine brands. This is a full-time role with weekend OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional CNC machining experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Demonstrated ability to decode and apply technical blueprints and schematics.
• Advanced proficiency in writing and editing G-Code.
• Experience operating CNC mills and lathes from diverse brands.

Responsibilities

• Configure and set up CNC lathes or mills per project requirements.

Compensation & Status

$22 – $30 per hour | Full-Time

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join a reputable manufacturing facility located in Youngsville. This position offers a hands-on environment where you will manage the entire machining lifecycle, from initial setup to the delivery of the final component.

Core Responsibilities

• Configure and tool CNC lathes or mills according to specific project needs
• Develop, edit, and interpret G-Code programming, excluding conversational methods
• Analyze technical drawings and blueprints to establish precise machining sequences and tolerances
• Prepare and measure raw materials for the production process
• Identify and fasten necessary tooling, fixtures, and attachments
• Calibrate machine settings including feed, speed, coolant flow, and depth
• Oversee active machine cycles and implement necessary real-time adjustments
• Conduct thorough dimensional checks during and after the production process to ensure quality
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve assembly or machining challenges and improve output efficiency
• Execute standard equipment maintenance and document any mechanical concerns

Professional Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional CNC machining experience within a manufacturing facility
• Demonstrated expertise in managing the full production cycle from start to finish
• Proven ability to accurately decode and apply technical blueprints and schematics
• Advanced proficiency in writing and modifying G-Code
• Experience operating various equipment, including: Doosan, Hwacheon, Okuma, Mori Seiki, and Puma
• Strong mathematical aptitude and a meticulous approach to quality control
• Completion of high school education or equivalent

Work Schedule

• Full-time commitment
• Availability for weekend shifts and overtime as required
