Job description

Are you a hands-on professional with a passion for machining, welding, and mechanical work? Staffmark is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with a well-rounded skill set who enjoys a mix of responsibilities in a dynamic shop environment.

Pay: $28.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (occasional Saturdays)

What You'll Do:

• Operate various equipment including Band Saw, Lathe, Power Press, and Drill Press


• Perform light welding (TIG, Stick, MIG) and mechanical tasks


• Communicate with shop and field personnel regarding job needs


• Deliver materials and products to job sites and pick up supplies


• Use fabrication tools such as shears, press brakes, drill presses, bench grinders, and band saws


• Utilize hand tools including power drills, die grinders, and hammers


• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts


• Manually lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)


• Maintain a clean and safe work area


• Stock and organize raw materials

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs


• Comfortable performing basic math and layout functions


• Proficient in reading a tape measure and basic blueprints


• Experience using hand tools and operating a forklift


• Valid driver's license and current DOT health card


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow
