Randstad is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift in Kansas City, KS (on-site). Pay ranges $25.00–$35.00 per hour, or $52,000–$72,800 per year, with evenings free and weekends off. 3- and 5-axis CNC machines and a collaborative team environment characterize the shop.

You will program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot, read blueprints, and inspect parts with calipers and micrometers. HS diploma and 2 years of experience required; this is a full-time role with Randstad benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a CNC Machinist, you will program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to manufacture high-precision products with minimal supervision.

• Machining & Programming: Program CNC software, interpret G-code, and operate 3 and 5-axis CNC machinery to execute precise production.




• Blueprint Reading: Read technical blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure finished products meet exact specifications.




• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose equipment issues, adjust machine settings, and optimize production performance.




• Quality Assurance: Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to inspect parts and ensure strict quality compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven hands‑on experience as a CNC Machinist in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or precision production environment.




• Technical Skills: Ability to program software, interpret G-code, and operate 3‑axis and 5‑axis machines.




• Tools & Inspection: High proficiency with manual tools and precision measuring devices (calipers, tape measures, etc.).




• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.




• Mindset: mechanical aptitude, proactive problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently while remaining a team player.
