Job summary

Randstad is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift in Kansas City, KS (on-site). Pay ranges $25.00–$35.00 per hour, or $52,000–$72,800 per year, with evenings free and weekends off. 3- and 5-axis CNC machines and a collaborative team environment characterize the shop.

You will program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot, read blueprints, and inspect parts with calipers and micrometers. HS diploma and 2 years of experience required; this is a full-time role with Randstad benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on CNC Machinist experience in heavy industrial or precision manufacturing.
• Ability to program, read blueprints, and operate 3- and 5-axis machines.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent work ethic.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC software, set up, and operate CNC machines.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to meet specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize production performance.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools to ensure quality.
