Job description

CNC Machinist needed to operate CNC lathes and mills.

Required Skills:

1. Operate CNC lathes and mills to machine parts according to specifications.
2. Conduct ongoing dimensional inspections and document results.
3. Monitor machine operation, ensuring proper functionality.
4. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols.
5. Manufacture parts to the required quantity and document processes in the ERP system.
6. Inspect parts using precision tools like micrometers and calipers.
7. Set up and operate machines independently for precision part production.
8. Read and interpret part routing, drawings, and specifications.
9. Identify and change worn inserts as necessary.
10. Adjust machine offsets and complete change-over activities.

Nice to Have Skills:

1. Proficiency in CNC programming.
2. Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
3. Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. Certification in CNC machining.
2. 4+ years of CNC machining experience.
