Job summary

Jobot in Houston is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a permanent on-site role. The position requires setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills with Mazak and Mori Seiki equipment, Mazatrol controls, and premium threading experience.

You will read blueprints, verify tooling and programs, maintain documentation, and ensure safety, quality, and tight tolerances in a production-focused environment with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years premium threading experience in manufacturing environment.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Experience with Mazak or Mori Seiki equipment preferred.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.

$30 - $40 per hour | Houston, TX | On-site | Permanent

CNC Machinist | Mazak & Mori Seiki Experience Preferred | Premium Threading | 1st & 3rd shift | Up to $40/hr + OT

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced CNC machinist with lathe and/or mill experience
• Hands‑on experience with Mazak and/or Mori Seiki equipment is highly preferred
• Experience with Mazatrol controls is a plus
• Premium threading experience strongly preferred
• Experience in oil & gas, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, or other precision machining environments
• Strong understanding of quality standards, safety procedures, and production requirements
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Someone who takes pride in producing quality work and being part of a team-driven environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• Premium threading experience
• Experience working with tight-tolerance components
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and precision measuring equipment
• Prior experience in a production or job shop environment
